Pousada Pequi - Baia

The food was delicious, especially the lunch and dinner options. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and they even had a nice swimming pool for relaxation. We also enjoyed the variety of animals we saw during the safaris.

The lack of English-speaking guides made it difficult to fully understand and appreciate the fauna and flora of the area. The location was quite remote, requiring a long drive on an unsealed road.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the beautiful Brazilian interior. the wildlife was abundant and made for amazing photography opportunities. I loved being able to feed and touch the wild alligators, it was such a unique experience. the open-air jeep excursion under the full moon added a touch of adventure to my stay. the accommodations were lovely and had a cozy, family feel to them. the family running the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. One more advantage is that the hotel is well-prepared for the rainy season, which adds a special charm to the experience.

The language barrier was a bit of a challenge as the guides didn't speak English and didn't provide much information about the animals and nature in Portuguese. the boat ride didn't offer as many animal sightings as the safaris, which was a bit disappointing.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was nice and comfy, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The food served, especially lunch and dinner, was delicious. The staff, even though they didn't speak English, were friendly. The hotel offered great excursions, allowing me to experience the surrounding nature and wildlife at any time of the day. The location was perfect, offering easy access to all activities and providing a beautiful setting.
